Where to find distance marketing jobs

do you like testing get pipe, and hate wasting time in the office? Luckily for you, marketing has some of the best remote work roles in the industry.

I managed an entire marketing team remotely and grew a startup from pre-launch to Series C completely remotely (only met the team twice!). In this article, I’ll share some job boards where you can start looking for your next remote marketing job.

hint: Don’t just look at the characters. In my experience, you want to look for certain Distance employer qualitiessuch as remote first, good at asynchronous communication.

37 distance marketing job boards

With no commute and your favorite coffee and your personal library never far away, who wouldn’t want to work from the sanctuary of their own home?

I hope the following resources help you find your next dream role.

1) home work

Work From Home Jobs aggregates jobs from several other remote job boards and there is one Distance Marketing Category. It makes it easy for you to stay updated on your remote marketing efforts in one seamless location.

2) in Apple pie order

Wellfound (formerly AngelList) is for startups (mostly early stage) and has some amazing remote startup marketing jobs, but also some really crappy ones with no salary or equity. I like to have information like salary and equity listed up front so there’s not a lot of guesswork when it comes to salary. It’s worth taking a look if you’re interested in new startups.

3) LinkedIn

When looking for a job, the first thing that comes to mind is probably LinkedIn. they have great Remote Marketing Filter opportunities, but the problem is that they don’t always work and may only show local job opportunities depending on the user who is searching.

4) flexible working

FlexJobs lists “flexible” job opportunities, meaning they are not 38 hours a week, and most people are also looking for remote workers. This is probably one of the best sites for users who are not looking for full-time employment, in case they have other commitments that don’t allow for it or just don’t want to work that much. Their remote marketing category offers a wealth of options for users looking for remote marketing opportunities.

5) Legend job board

Focused on freelance writing roles, the Lore job board lists places to search if you’re working in marketing content. Last time I checked (November 2023), I saw notifications for 30 job boards and an upcoming “knowledge board” that will list jobs directly in one place.

6) We work remotely

We Work Remotely is a recruitment board dedicated to all remote roles. They have a variety of job categories, including design, product, and management, but also have strong sales and marketing categories.

7) remote io

Remote.io is another job board that focuses exclusively on remote work. Searchers can see which countries an employer is open to and filter by job category.

8) work party

Jobgether lets visitors explore jobs and companies suitable for telecommuting. Job seekers can filter by salary, language, contract type, industry, and more.

9) Yuanta list

YentaList is a curated list of digital marketing jobs that is updated almost daily. YentaList is curated by Olivia Dreizen Howell, co-founder of Fresh Starts Registry.

10) best writing

With a strong focus on content roles, Best Writing is a great job board for wordsmiths, and you can filter by contract, part-time and full-time opportunities.

11) freelance women

Despite what the name suggests, roles posted on Freelancer Women are open to any gender. You can filter by industry, rate, qualification level, and job and job type (full-time, mixed, etc.).

12) The pinnacle of freelance work

This is a community of freelancers, and what better place to discover freelancing than a community dedicated to freelancing? You can filter jobs by Remote First vs. Remote Allowed, and further by category, job type, and salary range.

13) Newsletter Jobs.io

NewsletterJobs.io job board lets you sort by department and provides newsletters of the latest jobs. To find remote jobs, enter “remote” in the location field and click the Search button.

14) No desktop

NoDesk is one of my personal favorites, with an active job board and a newsletter the company sends out every Thursday with the latest remote jobs (it also has the latest editorial on remote work). You can filter jobs by department and even browse non-technical categories.

Attention those of you who are job hunting: I have posted open positions on this job board and found great candidates that I ultimately hired.

15) Career treasure trove

Career Vault has a range of remote roles for you to choose from, and you can filter by function. I took a quick look at their marketing and writing efforts, and one of the things that stood out the most was the recency of the posts. This job board is very active and well-maintained, with new jobs added daily.

16) Ota

Registration required

Otta is a remote job board offering opportunities from only the most exciting, innovative and fast-growing companies. While you must be logged in to use this option, Otta’s registration questionnaire ensures that you only see jobs that are relevant to your job interests, skills, and aspirations.

17) Remote OK

Remote OK is a tech-savvy remote working platform that provides information-rich remote opportunities. (You can filter the results to View only marketing jobs.) Their website also features other innovative features such as a list of top remote companies, secure job coding, and a Hacker News mode.

18) dynamite work

If you want to avoid the hassle of sifting through job results to pick 100% remote positions, Dynamite Jobs may be your best choice. They work exclusively with remote-first employers to ensure every listing is always working from home.

19) remote

Remotive prides itself on sharing job opportunities at only vetted technology companies. Browse their job listings to find Complete distance marketing work. While free, they also offer Remotive Accelerator, a paid version that lets you unlock over 30,000 remote jobs.

20) working nomads

Being able to live the life of a digital nomad and work from anywhere is a dream come true for many. To achieve this, Working Nomads shares fully remote job opportunities, and you can narrow your search to only display marketing positions.

Easily browse marketing jobs on Jobspresso. Their simple search results show a brief overview of each company next to its location, industry and application deadline.

If workplace values ​​are a key criterion for your job search, then People First Jobs is your career platform of choice. As the name suggests, this remote job board prioritizes available positions at people-focused companies.

Tired of commuting? Let SkipTheDrive find your next distance marketing role. Whether you want to go completely remote or are willing to have a hybrid setup, this job board will show you relevant vacancies without the need to set up an account.

Explore full-time remote or hybrid marketing job roles with JustRemote. You can search the job board for recent job opportunities, or browse by company using the Remote Companies page. To unlock more opportunities, you can pay $6 to participate in hidden remote jobs rarely found on other similar sites.

25) remote company

Remote.co is another job platform that I mentioned earlier where FlexJobs operates. The latter focuses on flexible roles with some remote work opportunities, while Remote.co focuses on jobs that allow you to work from anywhere. The library is updated frequently, providing a large selection of new opportunities.

26) Walker

The Workew remote job board features a minimalist design that makes it easy to browse listings and find the perfect position. You can see if the role is only open to US, Canadian or UK applicants, or if it accepts candidates from anywhere in the world – perfect if you want a role that truly allows you to work from anywhere .

27) Flexa

What sets Flexa apart from other job boards is the ability to search based on the employment benefits you value most. Whether you’re looking for a fully remote position, a “work from anywhere” position, or one that simply allows you to work from home one or two days a week, you can easily find a position that matches your needs with Flexa.

If you’d like to learn about current remote work opportunities at vetted companies, visit the Remote Work Junkies job board. In addition to browsing current job openings, you can join their Skilled Worker Club (a community for people looking to advance their careers in technology) for $65 per year.

If you’re tired of browsing job boards, skip searching entirely and use Remote Leaf to get relevant remote opportunities delivered straight to your inbox. Simply tell the agent your skills and location to receive a remote job listing tailored to you.

DailyRemote showcases a wide range of remote job opportunities, including those from leading companies like Shopify and Atlassian. Each listing displays keywords to give you a quick overview of job role requirements or preferred skills. To get more job opportunities, you can subscribe to a premium account starting at $6.95 per week.

We Are Distributed is more than just a remote working platform; it’s a movement with a manifesto. Each job listing includes a salary range so you don’t apply for a job only to find out the salary doesn’t meet your expectations. With Remotists, you can switch between global or US-only listings, so you can decide how remote you want your next job to be. The company constantly updates the platform with the latest job opportunities and offers a newsletter that you can subscribe to learn about new openings.

34) Remote 4me

Remote4me is a remote job aggregator, which means they handle the hard work of browsing the internet for remote opportunities and then pulling all the listings into their job database. You can filter results to view only remote product, marketing, and SEO jobs, minimizing the need to search across multiple sites and speeding up your job search.

Get free access to thousands of remote marketing jobs on Remote Source. My favorite feature of this resource is that you can filter the results by company stage. This is great for job seekers looking for startups or scaling companies at some stage of their business, such as Seed or Series A.

36) Himalayas

Browse Remote Marketing Jobs on Himalayas, a site that bills itself as “the remote job board you’ll actually love using.” Find remote job openings from around the world and use the platform’s helpful resources to learn more about their salaries, skills, and more.
