I’m advertising my Cornerstone Advertising Tips Lead Magnet. The ad directs users to a unique landing page and form used only for that ad. Once they register using this form, they will get a special tag.

Therefore, reporting in Ads Manager should never be higher than the total number of people with that label. The only reason these two numbers are different is that Ads Manager doesn’t report them.

As far as we know, Ads manager false negative It’s always possible due to someone sharing an ad or other tracking issue. When Ads Manager shows over-reporting, there’s almost always a reason – the First Conversions report may help you find out why.

How can this be?

use comparative attribution Features and selecting “First Conversion” and “All Conversions” I saw the following results…

This matches what I have in the CRM. While this doesn’t 100% prove that the first conversion report consists entirely of 29 people in my CRM, it’s certainly possible. I can think of a scenario why these three extra transitions happen.

A possible explanation is that three of them signed up for a second lead magnet after the first, leading to inflated reports. When using the first conversion, these three are removed.
