However, building internal links sounds simple, but is actually quite complex when it comes to natural language processing and helping you create effective links that drive results.
It’s quiet sometimes here at Link Whisper HQ, quietly releasing new updates every month.
But the reality is that we are making significant innovations and updates to Link Whisper every month.
Today, I just wanted to share 3 of our latest innovations… that you may not have realized were already in your Link Whisper plugin.
related articles
First up is the Related Posts widget.
Earlier this year, we launched Link Whisper’s ability to create relevant posts on your website.
No more related post cheats…Link Whisper can do it for you!
Below is an example of a related posts widget from NichePursuits.com (my blog).
Link Whisper is smart enough to know that the blog post people are reading is about WordPress cheats, so it automatically recommends 5 other posts related to WordPress cheats!
When turned on in Link Whisper settings, Link Whisper will power relevant posts on your site.
This not only provides additional Google internal links It’s faster to crawl and index your site, but it also results in more pageviews when users click through and read relevant posts.
If you are a Link Whisper user, simply go to Link Whisper in the sidebar, click on “Settings” and then click on “Related Post Settings” as shown below:

accessible links
Second, there are accessible links.
Making your website useful and accessible to all users, including people with disabilities, is an important issue.
Due to visual impairments, some users may use screen readers or other means to browse the web.
In fact, laws in the United States and other countries require governments and contractors to make their websites “accessible” to all users.
Link Whisper helps all users access links with the flip of a switch. (We created this innovation at Link Whisper over the past few months).
Link Whisper can mark your links with visual icons and create preview text that directs the link to an external website (for example).
Accessible links using Link Whisper are as follows:
If you’re already a Link Whisper user, you have complete control over the appearance of these icons so that they match the style of your website.
To turn it on, just go to Link Whisper > Settings > Advanced Settings tab
If you don’t currently have Link Whisper, you can start and run Accessibility Links now when you Check out the link Whisper here.
Broken YouTube link
Finally, the next innovation I want to highlight is the repair of broken YouTube links.
Especially the YouTube embed is broken! For some websites, this is a particularly difficult problem to solve.

Because technically the link isn’t “broken” when the owner deletes the video or changes the YouTube video from public to private.
Therefore, most broken link checkers will not detect that the video no longer exists.
But Link Whisper is smarter than most!

Link Whisper will now indicate if your YouTube link or video embed is no longer valid.

You can then simply delete the video or find a relevant replacement, saving readers the annoying experience of seeing a “Video is no longer available” screen.
To use the Link Whisper YouTube link feature, simply navigate to the Broken Links page: Reports > Broken Link Report.
You can quickly fix or change broken URLs right in the Link Whisper report!
