If you set up a new ad account, expect to experience some new hurdles.
Let’s discuss it…
Phone verification
There is a new update for Ads Manager in October titled “Phone Verification Requirements for New Advertisers.”
Its content is as follows:
If you are a new advertiser or have created a new ad account, you will now need to verify your phone number before you can run ads and promote posts.
Meta says you can do this on the Account Overview page, which can be found in the All Tools menu.
But if you don’t, you’ll need to verify when you try to post your ad. Meta will then send you a confirmation code via phone call or text message.
