However, on the other hand, there are some shows that are good overall but fall apart by the finale. Some shows in this category include House of Cards (8.8 overall, 2.6 finale) and game of Thrones (Total score 9.6, ending 4.2). These types of shows often lack direction or take drastic changes that undermine the show’s initial excellence.
