Functional failure: LeadPages and Unbounce
Ready to study more in-depth guide pages and stand out from each other?
Let’s explore the features.
Landing page builders and templates
clue
LeadPages provides an easy and fast way for anyone to quickly create landing pages using the drag-and-drop editor. If you don’t want to design a page completely, you can choose from over 200 templates and start from there.
Here is what I like about LeadPages’ templates and drag and drop editor:
- Templates can be searched and organized through campaigns. You can search by category (such as lead generation, checkout, or webinar registration), which makes the correct templates easy to find.
- Edits are mostly intuitive and easy to use. It took me a little click to master the editor, but this is common to me and any drag and drop dashboard. I like that you can build popups and jump to the CTA button, add widgets and select their general locations, and comment on the draft.
- Release soon. You can launch a page, pop-up, or alert bar in less than an hour. If you don’t fight perfectionism like me, it’s less than 30 minutes. It will also be faster after building the brand colors and fonts.
- Internal and external transformation tracking. Provided by LeadPages Built-in conversion tracking supports external pixels and analysis through code snippets or integration.

Overall, the LeadPages template is modern, bright and varied enough to fit all brand styles.
One drawback is that lead page templates are lighter customizable, especially compared to Unbounce.
LeadPages allows limited custom code injections through widgets, but it does not support full template editing. Compared with Unbounce’s open HTML/CSS/JS editing, LeadPages’ encoding options are more restrictive.
This is how the LeadPages dashboard looks for the template. Simple, direct, and easy to browse.

For people like me, they just need to encode the idea of something and hide, LeadPages’ codeless focus, drag-and-drop editing is also great.
Unlock
Like LEADPAGES, Unbounce offer Drag and drop editor, but Unbounce can handle greater design flexibility, as well as high-end customization.
It has fewer than 100 lead pages, but compensates for this with deeper control.
Distant Deeper control. To me, it was like walking into the cockpit of an airplane, like someone who wasn’t now, and would never be a pilot. There are plenty of buttons, controls and customization options.

But if you need this type of customization, Unbounce’s aircraft control dashboard is a real dream.
Here is what you get:
- Ability to control the space of each square millimeter on the template.
- Custom HTML, CSS and JavaScript support all encoding enthusiasts.
- Super rich layout with (extremely) granular control.
- Native transformation tracking has deep external integration and custom scripting support for best-in-class analysis and attribution.
This combination of strengths makes Unbounce perfect for teams that need to create campaigns that have become a hilt and ready for a switch.
At the same time, the level of customization provided makes more casual users a little clumsy.
A/B testing and optimization
clue
LEADPAGES does have A/B testing, but the standard plan does not include it. With the Pro plan and above, you will get unlimited allocation tests.

I appreciate that setting up split testing is very easy. You can select a control page for testing, select a variant from an existing page or copy a page and customize the variant, and then test it.
Like the LeadPages template, the A/B test capsilicate is perfect for beginners.
Unlock
For more complex testing, Unbounce Shines. You are not doing A/B testing in Unbounce’s basic plan, but you do get it through the next layer (experimental plan). It is infinite!
You can easily create duplicates and switch from them in the template editor.

Test as many page variants as you want, quickly find winners with advanced reports, and if you upgrade to optimize the next tier, Unbounce’s AI-powered smart traffic tool will automatically route traffic to the best conversion version.
Pop-up and sticky strips
clue
You will get (unlimited!) pop-ups and alert bars as core features in each LeadPages plan. The pop-up and sticky bar editing on LEADPAGES looks like the editing of the login page. Navigation is also very simple.
Activate popups with click-based time, time delay and exit triggers.

You can also link popups to the specific landing page you are working on so that both tools can work together to drive the conversion.
Unlock
Unbounce also offers pop-ups and sticky bars – Additionally, you can see what the pop-up looks like on the website.

The editor pops up Looks Judging from the screenshot above, it’s simple, and it turns into an overwhelming but unlimited custom editor for making Unbounce landing pages.
You can set click-based time delays, scrolling and exit triggers and set them through Unbounce and get detailed analysis on the performance of each pop-up or sticky bar.
Publishing, traffic and limitations
clue
LEADPAGES has direct release restrictions on each of its planning tiers:
- Standard Plan: Limit 5 landing pages and 1 custom domain per month
- Professional plan: Unlimited landing pages and up to 3 custom domains
- Corporate Plan With customizable number of domains and other planning capabilities
However, all plans do come with unlimited traffic and leads, which makes LeadPages’ pricing structure fundamentally different from Unboince.
If you only need to post a few landing pages per month on 1-3 custom domains, the page will be Very suitable.
Unlock
Unlike LeadPages, Unbounce offers unlimited landing pages across all its plans. But this limits the number of visitors and the number of conversions per month:
- Establish a plan: Up to 20,000 visitors per month
- Experimental plan: Up to 30,000 visitors per month
- Optimization plan: Up to 50,000 visitors per month
- Customize concierge/enterprise plan If your traffic exceeds these numbers.
For high traffic sites, these limitations can promote the rapid rise in costs of using Unbounce. But this does help ensure that the resources you use scale up as needed.
integrated
clue
LeadPages is natively integrated with a few tools and is available through Zapier as well as over 2,000 applications. Popular integrations include Continuous Connection, MailChimp and Gotowebinar.

you can Learn more about LeadPages integration here.
Unlock
Like LeadPages, Unbounce offers some local integrations and thousands of Zapier-powered integrations.
Unbounce could have been connected to tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, and Campaign Monitor.

For a complete list of local and Zapier integrations, see Unbounce’s integration page.
support
clue
Support for lead pages is quite limited. If you pay for the standard plan, all you get is email support. Paying for the Pro plan allows you to chat in real time. If you go to a business, you will have higher touch options.

There is a good one Searchable knowledge baseHowever, this can bring you a lot of the answers you need.
Unlock
Unlike LeadPages, Undounce offers full phone, email and live chat customer support, built from its basic plan, UP.
Three cheers, with full support!

Like LeadPages, Unbounce also has Searchable knowledge base.
Pricing Segment: Which has the best value?
We’ve already covered LeadPages and Unbounce plans, but if you need to outline plans and pricing faster, we’re here to cover you.

Now, which offers the best value – meaningless or lead page?
it depends.
If you don’t need unlimited customization provided by Unbounce, LeadPages offers extremely high value for its basic plan.
You get several landing pages per month and unlimited traffic (but no A/B tests), and a $37 annual fee per year is a good deal. The unlimited login page and A/B testing plan is $74 per month per year, but the price is good value.
But if you want all of this power supply to get out of the table, the starting price of $74 a month you pay for your manufacturing plan every year is worth it. However, this tier doesn’t provide you with A/B testing – you need to do a plan for this and pay $112 a month.
Final judgment: LeadPages or Unbounce are yours?
LeadPages and Unbounce are both great tools for building, publishing and tracking success Landing page.
However, if you are a single brand or a small business, LEADPAGES is easier to use and more affordable.
Mid-sized businesses and enterprise brands that require a lot of customization and coding options will benefit from the more powerful features of Unbounce.
