Ask for the Pixel 10 more than feeling greedy.
Google’s non-Pro pixels are fairly priced at $799, which is significantly below $999 Pixel 10 Pro. It comes with some convenient upgrades, such as QI2 charging with built-in magnets. Its AI capabilities ultimately show promise. It includes a dedicated telephoto lens for the first time. This is a proper flagship and all-round easygoing Android phone. But if I’m greedy, then I do have a request: a better camera.
The rear camera on the pixel 10 is totally fine. For someone who is not picky about image quality, they will be better than fines. Maybe I think they are good too, if I don’t know the camera is Last year’s model better. That’s because until this year, non-Pro pixels had the same main and speeding camera hardware as Pro. But we can’t have everything, when Google added this year’s telephoto lens, it lowered the other two rear cameras to the middle distance stuff Pixel 9a. So, as long as you’re not too greedy, the Pixel 10 has the perfect camera system.
Outside of the camera situation, the Pixel 10 has made the same big upgrades as this year’s Pro Phones: new chips and some magnets. The Tensor G5 is a new processor for the 10 series and I found it runs a cooler cooler than previous versions. The G5 is Google’s first custom chipset made by TSMC, which handles heavier workloads. The regular 10 comes with 12GB of RAM, while 16GB of 10 PROs has 16GB, and I did notice that stuttering on dense web pages is more than the Pro’s. But for non-Professional Telephone users, it handles most tasks very well.

There are a lot of device AI running on devices on new chips, you can read more about IN My Pixel 10 Pro review – I suspect this contributes to the Pixel 10’s Just-Okay battery life. A full day of medium use is no problem, but if you add some intensive activities like extended hotspots or gaming sessions, you might start looking for a charger later in the afternoon. The average person may not be bothered by this, but power users will want to use a charger or power bank to avoid battery anxiety at the end of the day.
AI is still hitting percentage, but hitting is getting better and better.
AI is still hitting percentage, but hitting is getting better and better. Pixel 10 is not provided Generate AI-assisted camera zoom function Pro and Pro XL have it, but you do get magic tips, which get useful information based on your work. It actually does work. It’s only in a few Google apps, but when you open Google Maps based on what you save in your screenshot, it can help you put something on your calendar, or suggest a destination. While testing it on pixel 10, I have a little more false positives than when testing 10 pros. Sometimes when I tell my friend I’m “30”, it suggests that the information is irrelevant, or proposes creating a calendar event. I still find it more useful than none, and it’s easy to ignore when its suggestions are insufficient.
The Pixel 10 has a QI2 with built-in magnets, which is great. No case required (Different from Samsung S25 series phones), I really like to get my phone to the pixelsnap charger at the head of the bed at the end of the day. With what is Essentially magsafeToday, the Pixel series looks like a complete alternative to the iOS ecosystem. Every night, my pixel watch also follows and changes the mode when I put my phone on the charger and triggers the bedtime mode. This is not a new feature, but a few moments throughout the day.
I spent a week in the Pixel 10 Pro before switching to the regular 10 and didn’t feel much on the cheap model except for the display. Compared to the 1280p display on the 10 Pro, the standard 10 comes with a 6.3-inch 1080p screen with a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz. Its peak brightness of 3,000 nits is enough to keep the phone available on sunny days, while the 1080p is only enough to make the screen resolution. The screen seems to be easier to drop from its first 120Hz refresh rate, which is good, but it’s a little harsh when you scroll through the NYT Games app and suddenly look at 60Hz.
I also noticed some small gradients when using my phone under bright lights – the darkness around the edge of the screen, like you can see in the photos. It turns out to be A known issueSolved by switching to the Natural display color profile. Overall, it’s a good display, but you’ll definitely get more by spending more on the Pro.
More information about 10 Pros: Camera. Pixel 10’s 48-megapixel F/1.7 main camera appears to be with 10 Pro’s 50-megapixel F/1.7 cameras – Until the sensor size is reached. The regular 10 uses a 1/2.0-inch type sensor, about half the size of the 1/1.31-inch type sensor in the Pro model. A larger sensor will produce a clean image with better dynamic range, which is the difference I think, especially in portrait mode. Especially if the light is low and your theme is moving, if you are using the 2x zoom option, the portrait mode on the regular 10 is not as good as the professionals. The images show more noise, the details (such as hair) look crunchy, and the subject isolation isn’t as precise.
Photos in portrait mode, the subject moves toward the camera at high speed as hard as you can throw on your phone’s camera, so it’s not surprising that the Pixel 10 doesn’t handle it well. But this is one way that smaller camera sensors can lead to significantly poorer performance. Outside of the portrait, the Pixel 10 takes the perfect picture. The speeding sensor (also smaller than the patented sensor) can accept dim interior lighting. The 5x telephoto lens is very convenient and is definitely an upgrade to using 5x digital zoom. Maybe there are too many telephoto lenses and killer main cameras in the $799 phone, but I hope both are hopeful anyway.
Last year, the Pixel 9 felt like the phone Android needs for a long time: something elegant, simple and durable. The Pixel 10 takes the same model and is mostly improved, with QI2 and telephoto lenses added. Prices remain the same, and there is nothing to sneeze when all other prices rise.
Losing a high-end camera may not be a deal-breaker for most people, but it is hard to swallow if you know what you’re missing. Most people who buy this phone won’t have the burden of this knowledge, and I think the Pixel 10 will make the group very happy.

Agree to continue: Google Pixel 10, 10 Pro and 10 Pro XL
Now every smart device requires you to agree to a range of terms and conditions before using it – a contract that no one actually reads. It is impossible for us to read and analyze each of these protocols. But when we review the device, we start to calculate exactly how many times you have to use it by “agree” because these are agreements that most people don’t read and are absolutely impossible to negotiate.
To use a Pixel 10 series phone, you must agree to:
The following protocols are optional:
- Provide anonymous location data for Google services
- “Even if Wi-Fi or Bluetooth is turned off, allowing applications and services to scan Wi-Fi networks and nearby devices at any time.”
- Send usage and diagnostic data to Google
- Talk to Google for free: “If you agree, Google Assistant will wait in standby mode to detect “Hey Google” and some quick phrases.”
- Allow the assistant to be on the lock screen
Additionally, if you want to use Google Assistant, you must agree to let Google collect application information and contact your device. Other functions, such as other functions, may require other protocols.
Final count: Five mandatory agreements and at least five optional agreements
