What is a “exchange selling point”?

There is a new advantage + creative enhancement float. Here’s what you need to know…

How it works

When creating new image ads, I discovered an advantage + creative enhancement called the exchange selling point.

Meta describes this:

We will replace the text in your media with AI-generated text. This text has different selling points identified in the ad text options to help attract different people. Your media’s visual creativity will not change.

Meta does not share an example, so it’s hard to imagine how to do this. But let’s look at the description literally.

The initial idea needs to include text. Meta will then replace the text on the image with the text generated by the AI. It will be taken from different selling points in your ad text options. Therefore, Meta will not only constitute any text.

Interestingly, I can only show this enhancement when using images without text. Using the same account or even the same ad, I tried the image with text and the enhancement never came out.

Some potential

AI is of course an interesting usage. But at the current stage, it requires a lot of trust to move forward without seeing an example. The benefit of some enhancements to Meta is that you can see in advance how to apply AI. It does not exist here.

This will also help to be able to customize the version created by the meta. Actually, if this is the case, this could be really useful. This may make it easy for you to create many variations of your image without actually editing a new image.
