AudioBoom doubles video revenue in the first half of 2025 as more than 60% of creators generate video podcasts

AudioBoom, the leading global podcast company, announced that its video revenue has doubled since the beginning of the year. According to AudioBoom, more than 60% of creators produce video podcasts, and more than 13% of their business comes from video revenue.

AudioBoom is now also 11 of the top 100 video podcasts in the U.S. in this revenue growth. These key milestones are directly related to the rapid development of AudioBoom video operations, as the creation and consumption of video podcasts are accelerating across the industry.

AudioBoom and its recently acquired UK podcast network Adelicious are continuing to advance its video strategy and expand platform capabilities to take advantage of the shift.

“As the industry continues to navigate the shift in podcast consumers’ shift to video, AudioBoom and Adelicious have become leaders in the field, and our video strategy has already brought considerable revenue to creators who make video content,” said Stuart Last, CEO of AutoBoom. Podcasters have trusted us as the leading independent platform for audio podcasts for years, and now they can rely on us to create value for their work in videos. ”

The network provides RPM for $40.74 video; the results of the company’s initiative were launched in 2024 to develop a market-leading video strategy.

Recent research has strengthened this momentum. According to the July 2025 Edison Research Podcast Consumer Research, 26% of U.S. adults now consume video podcasts weekly.

The report also found that 31% of podcast consumers discovered new podcasts through video platforms. Additionally, the rise of Sounds Profitable’s videos in podcast reports suggests that video audiences spend more time on podcast content than those who consume audio content alone. In fact, 33% of American viewers who turn into video podcasts each week report consuming more than 9 hours of content, compared to just 19% of weekly audio listeners.

Further updates to AudioBoom’s video strategy are expected later this year as the company continues to expand its capabilities and expands its monetization opportunities for creators.
